I believe that each of us inherently possess the knowledge inside ourselves to heal, grow, overcome, and develop a meaningful life, no matter the external or internal adversity. My ultimate goal as a counselor is to empower clients to move towards their values while facing the lemons life gives! When clients feel stuck and defeated, I help them tune in, notice patterns, unhook from what is not working, and develop energizing resources.
I am a trained multicultural counselor who honors diversity and broaches it therapeutically. We are all dealt a special hand that shapes how we experience the world and how the world sees us. I affirm the identities that are important to clients (race, gender, sexuality, religion, culture, nationality, etc.) and use it as needed in the healing process.
I am a native Texan and loves music, cats/animals, singing, rain showers, and spending time with family.Â
