Hi there, I’m Katie!
I provide attachment-informed care with the focus on developing a relationship built on acceptance and genuineness. I believe that the freedom and mutual permission to show up authentically allows us to co-create a secure, safe space to explore your sense of self and move towards growth and healing.
I use trauma- informed interventions, including somatic experiencing and EMDR to help decrease symptoms of distress/dysregulation and explore the areas of life where you’re struggling to feel connected. My goal is to support you in bringing awareness to your body and learning about your nervous system to help move towards a more regulated and connected self.
When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I love having game nights, watching movies, and reading. Things I could talk about forever include: fantasy books (especially Harry Potter & Percy Jackson), Taylor Swift, unlikely animal friends, and of course, mental health!
